WWF/WWE WRESTLING ACTION FIGURES
1996 – 2009 (Jakks Pacific)

The tenth wave of wrestling action figures from Jakks Pacific in 2005 continued two of their super popular main lines with Ruthless Aggression and Classic Superstars. The TitanTron Live line also continued, but on a much smaller scale. A new line called “Deluxe Aggression” began this year, which featured high end sculpts of the biggest names of the WWE. Jakks also returned several series from previous years such as Backlash and Adrenaline, while still introducing many new ones as well.

Adrenaline – Series 11 through 15 (2005): Ruthless Aggression

The Adrenaline Series of two-packs continued in 2005 with five more waves of the biggest names in wrestling teaming up or facing off against each other.

Best of ECW (2005): Ruthless Aggression

The ECW was created in 1992, but merged with the WWF/WCW in 2003. This unified professional wrestling in a way that we had never seen before and allowed Jakks Pacific to now utilize the ECW brand. This new series featured six of the biggest names from the ECW with brand new figures and molds.

The WWE Classic Superstars line launched the year before and became an instant fan favorite by celebrating the legends of old and some recent as well. As before, a bunch of limited exclusives were also released throughout the year.

Havoc Unleashed was a new series for the TitanTron Live line in 2005, that contained six wrestlers in fairly plain poses and packaging. Included were: Booker T, Chris Benoit, Edge, Kurt Angle, Scotty 2 Hotty and Triple H.

The Ring Giants were 14″ poseable action figures with 13 points of articulation. The Road to WrestleMania 22 series began in 2005 and featured the biggest names as they prepared for the upcoming WrestleMania 22 taking place in April of 2006. There were seven individual figures in all, along with three different two-packs released for the series.
