The Power Rangers returned for their tenth season in 2002, and once again, the team changed into a different theme. This time, the team was revealed as the “Power Rangers Wild Force”. This began a new era for the Power Rangers, as the franchise had been purchased by Disney in 2002. This show was about five teens from that fight side by side with a variety of gigantic animals, against the evil orgs led by Master Org and a host of other villains.

The Power Rangers Wild Force consisted of five Power Ranger characters, Black Ranger, Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, White Ranger, and Yellow Ranger. They would be joined by the mysterious Lunar Wolf Ranger, who was later revealed as Merrick Baliton. Instead of battling Evil Space Aliens or evil Demons, the Wild Force fought a group of evil orgs led by Master Org, Toxica, and Jindrax. This season would mark the first produced by Disney and would eventually move from its regular Fox Kids to the ABC Kids network.

The Power Rangers Wild Force figures and accessories proved to popular with the kids who were watching the show at the time, but it was apparent that ratings and popularity were beginning to slip for the franchise. Wild Force was considered among the weaker Power Rangers seasons. Toy sales were also beginning to drop, with many items not selling like they used to. Most items from the Power Rangers Wild Force line of 2002 can still be easily found on the secondary market nowadays, with the Zords being among the more coveted items.
