2002-2009
Art Asylum and Diamond Select partnered in 2002 to launch a small series of figures based on the movie, Star Trek: Nemesis. They partnered again to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan in 2007. There were two standard waves of figures and several exclusives. In addition there a few two-packs based on various Star Trek movies and two role play accessories. Like its predecessors, these movie toy lines was extremely well done with amazing sculpts and costuming. These figures remain very popular to this day with fans and collectors.

Star Trek: Nemesis (2002): Basic Figures

Art Asylum released a small wave of four figures from Star Trek Nemesis, which was released that same year. Featured were Captain Picard, Lt. Commander Data, Shinzon and the Reman Viceroy. A few additional figures from Nemesis would be later released in future waves of Next Generation figures.

The Star Trek: Nemesis action figure line by Art Asylum/Diamond Select included only one wave consisting of four figures (Captain Picard, Data, Shinzon and Viceroy). The 25th Anniversary figures from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan consisted of two standard waves of figures, along with several exclusives. Standard wave figures consisted of Captain Terrell, Khan, Lt. Saavik, Captain Spock, Commander Uhura and three versions of Admiral Kirk. The exclusives included Sulu, Chekov, Scotty, Dr. McCoy, and new versions of Admiral Kirk and Khan. In addition, there were four different two-packs, with two different versions of Kirk and Spock from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, another from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and one based on Spock’s death scene from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
The packaging for Art Asylum’s Star Trek: Nemesis figures was very attractive and colorful. The figures used a standard blister pack, with each figure centered on the card. The name of each character was directly below the figure with the Star Trek Nemesis logo above the figure. The Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan figures also used a standard blister pack, with the figure again centered on the card. The name of each characters was directly below the figure while the Star Trek II logo was the to the right of the card. There was a colorful portrait on each card of the main characters from the movie, Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Khan.
