Like the television series, Kenner also changed the banner of their toy line from Batman Animated Series to The Adventures of Batman & Robin as well. The continuation of the toy line ran from 1995 to 1997, when it ultimately came to an end.
The Adventures of Batman & Robin toy line included two waves consisting of only 9 standard released action figures. Wave One included: Hover Jet Batman, Paraglide Batman, Rocketpak Batman, Pogo Stick Joker, and Ra’s Al Ghul. In addition, Bane and Bola Jet Robin were re-released from the Batman Animated Series line. Kenner released another sub-set as well called the “Duo Force”, which put the focus on the main accessory for each figure having two functions, hence the name. There were no accessories or large scale playsets for the series, and only one vehicle, the Nightsphere.
The packaging for Kenner’s Adventures of Batman & Robin toy line was virtually identical to the previous Batman: The Animated Series figures, except for minor differences. Once again, the packaging was perfectly matched to the design of the popular animated series, with vibrant graphics and appealing colors. Each figure came on a traditional blister card, with the figure positioned on the right side of the bubble and its accessories on the left. The classic Batman Animated Series logo was replaced with the new Adventures of Batman & Robin logo, which included both characters. That logo was at the top left of the card, accompanied by a beautiful illustration of the character to the top right. The character’s name appeared above the illustration on the right side. The back of each card showcased all the figures and accessories from that wave, along with photos highlighting each figure’s action features. Another difference was the color of the card behind the figure, with Wave One being Yellow and Wave Two being Grey.
