Princess of Power Update

We are excited to bring your our latest update for Mattel’s Princess of Power action figure line! Since the values of certain items fluctuate over time, The Toy Collectors Guide prides itself in keeping up with the most current market trends and any shifts that may affect secondary market values. There are many factors that drive those trends and shifts which include, an item’s time period, scarcity, consumer demand and overall condition. The Princess of Power toy market has remained steady over the years due to that ever present 70’s and 80’s nostalgic desire for the kids who grew up in that era (myself included) to re-acquire the toys they loved from their youth, and the Masters of the Universe connection certainly doesn’t hurt.

The Princess of Power franchise was revived in 2018 with a brand-new animated series on Netflix, which enjoyed a successful 52-episode run. Meanwhile, the toy line has seen several modern incarnations. From Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics line to Super7’s 5.5″ and 7″ figure lines, the demand for She-Ra and Princess of Power figures has remained consistently strong.

This resurgence is great news for collectors who still own the original 1980s toys, as many fans are now eager to reclaim pieces from their childhood. Most original Princess of Power figures have shown steady growth in value, especially the harder-to-find characters from the second and third waves. Packaged items are becoming increasingly scarce due to age, which continues to drive prices upward. Even loose figures, vehicles, and accessories are seeing strong demand, as they make impressive display pieces for collectors. Overall, Mattel’s Princess of Power line continues to show fantastic growth—and that trend looks set to continue.
